ABOUT US
Each year, Evrything Africa aims to bring together the U.S.-based pan-African community in the DMV for an entire weekend of cultural exchange.

The purpose of our conference is to find ways to invest back into our native communities and share our varied cultures in ways that will change people's perceptions of Africa and how they respond to it.
Our 3-day event will be held in Washington D.C., home to one of the most diverse African communities in the U.S.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
This panel focuses on various topics related to physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We will explore unique health challenges facing Black and African communities, such as disparities in access to healthcare, higher rates of chronic diseases, and the impact of systemic racism on health outcomes. We will also explore culturally relevant strategies for promoting healthy lifestyles, including traditional healing practices and community-based health interventions.
SPORTS
This panel will discuss how sports can be a powerful platform for promoting greater awareness and understanding of Black and African culture, history, and traditions, as well as the role of sports in fostering greater unity and solidarity across diverse communities. Additionally, the panel will explore the impact of sports on the broader social and economic landscape, including issues related to access, opportunity, and the distribution of resources. Ultimately, we aim to promote a more inclusive and equitable sports culture that values and celebrates the contributions and achievements of Black and African athletes and communities.
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION
The technology panel will examine the technological advancements in Africa and the diaspora and how these advancements can be leveraged to bridge the gap between the two communities. Overall, the goal of this panel will be to promote a more informed and inclusive dialogue around the impact of technology on Black and African communities and to inspire greater collaboration and innovation in this important area.
CREATIVE CULTURE PANEL
This panel will discuss various topics related to creativity, art, and cultural expression. We will explore the unique challenges and opportunities facing Black and African artists and creatives, including issues of representation, appropriation, and cultural authenticity. We will also discuss how Black and African culture have influenced and been influenced by other cultures, both historically and in the present day. Additionally, the panel will explore the role of art and creativity in promoting social justice and advancing the cause of racial equality, as well as the importance of supporting and celebrating Black and African artists and creatives in today's increasingly diverse and interconnected global society.
